At MedPlus Clinic (My Health Medical Clinic Ltd), the safety and wellbeing of our patients is our highest priority. We are fully committed to safeguarding children, young people, and adults at risk from abuse, neglect, or harm.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and all concerns are taken seriously.
1. What Is Safeguarding?
Safeguarding means:
Protecting people’s health, dignity, and human rights
Ensuring individuals are safe from abuse, neglect, exploitation, or harm
Taking appropriate action if we believe someone may be at risk
This applies to children (under 18 years of age) and adults at risk, including those who may be vulnerable due to illness, disability, care needs, or other circumstances.

7. Confidentiality & Information Sharing
We respect patient confidentiality at all times. However, if someone is at risk of serious harm, we may need to share information with appropriate safeguarding authorities.
Any information sharing is carried out:

On a need-to-know basis
In line with UK data protection legislation
